If you don’t currently watch PBS, you should. They really have some !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if you’re into nature/science/history. Case in point: this installment of American Experience. It covers the last few weeks of the Vietnam war as the NVA is closing in on Saigon and the South Vietnamese residents and remaining U.S. service personnel and diplomatic staff scramble to leave.

It’s a fascinating and heart-wrenching look into the sheer chaos of the evacuation.

NOVA, Nature, and Frontline are the best TV out there. Everyone should be watching.

I actually watched this on Netflix. Very insightful, as it captures what was happening on the ground from the participants in the event.

Not our finest moment, as Americans, for sure.

Definitely. It was painful to watch knowing that so many were left behind.
